EPA sets forth plan to cleanup Byram Superfund Site

The EPA has proposed a $11.5 million cleanup and monitoring plan for the Byram, NJ Superfund site. The site, which was a privately owned dumping site until the 1970s, has contaminated the groundwater and tainted the private drinking wells of local residents. The EPA intends to conduct a review of the cleanup every five years.
